Home for the Holidays

Wow!
Thanksgiving was great.

I got to see my family and eat delicious food! I really missed my mom and dad. And California! Mountains! Palm Trees! It was 70 degress! Ha! Eric got to wear shorts!

On Friday, we went out for a nice dinner at the Dal Rae, since it was my parents 33rd wedding anniversary.

They were so cute snuggling and cuddling and being lovey dovey. Eric kept squeezing my hand and smiling. Later he told me, "You and I will be like that some day." Awwwww *cough cough cough*

Okay, enough of the sugar talk. As far as knitting go, I got a lot done. I was able to knit for a couple hours waiting for our flight, four hours on the plane, and a bit while I was at home, and then again at the airport on the return flight. I knit the heel, and most of the leg on my mom's candle socks. And I finished the first of Jeff's socks and cast on for the second one. Woot! I hope I can have both pairs finished this week so I can start Margo's Twinkleberry's!

But it's good to be back home now. And we were welcomed by snow!! It was snowing on the way home from the airport. Yay! That was my first snowfall here. :)
