Anyhoo, here's my first attempt at spinning!

I used a hand-dyed BFL I bought from YummyYarn on Etsy.
I watched some videos on YouTube, to help bring back the memories of what KniftyRed taught me a couple years ago. They really helped a lot.
Of course, there are several thick and thin areas, and I'm doing the park and draft method, but it came out better than I had expected for a first attempt. It's slow going too, but I'm sure it will pick up and I'll get more consistent as I get the hang of it. :D
In other news.... I got a kitty!! His name is Bruce. He's super adorable. He's bigger now than when we first got him, but he's become our baby. My husband and I love cuddling him and spoiling him and he's been a great kitty! He's well-behaved, for a kitten, and we've had no problems with him.. yet :P We adopted him from the South Suburban Humane Society.

Nice one for scoring a Golding! And the spinning looks good.
