Soap Bubble Wrap

Pattern: Soap Bubble Wrap by Connie Chang Chinchio
Yarn: Cascade Pima Tencel in Wine (Really a bright bloody red, to me)
March 2009 018

This was a lot of fun to make! I love it. Goes well with jeans, skirts, black slacks for work. Bought some red espadrilles to wear with it (forgot to take a pic of those). I love wearing bright red. I didn't used to be confident enough to wear something so attention grabbing, but it makes me feel good.

I'm really close to finishing the front for St. Brigid, but I have not worked on it in weeks. I really wanted to get this project done. I also need to make more progress on the wedding shawl, and maybe I'll make a quick project for my mom for Mother's Day/her birthday. I miss making socks too. Darn.

Oh, and if anyone cares... I'm on Twitter!

EDIT: I linked to Connie's blog. I should have done so originally, but after she was so kind to comment, I remembered. :) Thanks, Connie! And thanks for writing such fantastic patterns. The two I've made of your are my two most favorite projects.

That color was made for you. I'm glad you've found the freedom to wear it, because it makes you look like a queen.
