I was just listening to something I wanted to share.
One of the best birthday presents I have ever received, was from my dear friend, Naomi.
She took me to see Lhasa de Sela. It was in a small intimate theater, up close and very personal
It's an experience that stays with you forever.
She is one of the most sensual passionate singers out there.
How I’d like to carefully, tenderly, and with ginger fingers untie and unravel the tangled mess, one knot at a time and lay it out in one long strand that has no beginning or end. And I would wind it up in coils around myself, in even bands around my body so that I could be enveloped and surrounded by her mind, entwined in her delicate fibers. If I could, I’d be my own lover. And I would know myself.
