It's just wonderful. Looks like a handbag, but functions as a cute and useful knitting bag. A place for all my essentials!
I'm also happy that it goes so well with my new super lush leather purse I bought last weekend. The purse is a deep greyish purple. And I loves it! (I should have taken a pic of that too!). Both bags are dark jewel tones, and I want to snuggle up with them!
As far as projects, I finished another hat. This one was for the student I work with. She had been asking for one. Her favorite color is purple, so that's what I made it. It's the Unoriginal Hat by the Yarn Harlot. Cute and small, and very easy and quick to make!
Oh!!!!! How could I forget! I started a new skill. I'm learning thanks to Kris!
Yes, it's a drop spindle and some wool roving!
Kris brought it to our last SnB meeting last Wednesday so I can borrow and try it out, and very patiently taught me how to spin. I'm hard to keep the yarn even, but it's getting easier. I'm SO happy. I'll be needing to get one of these pretty soon. I envision that when I finally have a house, I'll have a spinning wheel as well :D
Oh, and here's Eric in our kitchen enjoying his hat!
